Job description

This position requires strong proficiency in .NET/C#, Azure cloud development, SQL based databases, and modern frontend technologies including React and TypeScript. Experience with Docker and containerization is required, as many of our applications are deployed using container-based architectures. The developer will work closely with a team of frontend and backend engineers and coordinate with internal DevOps resources to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure application delivery. Familiarity with OIDC and related authentication standards is considered a plus. This position works in a team environment at our home office in Newburgh, IN. This is not a remote position.

This position reports to the Director of Cloud Services.

  • Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker; assist in container orchestration and deployment workflows.
  • Collaborate with front‑end and back‑end developers to ensure cohesive system architecture and functionality.
  • Work closely with internal DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines, environment configuration, and deployment processes.
  • Utilize Bitbucket for source control and Jira for issue tracking and project management.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization patterns; familiarity with OIDC, OAuth2, or similar standards is a plus.
  • Participate in system architecture planning, requirements development, and design documentation.
  • Develop user interfaces, system interfaces, and diagnostic tools as required.
  • Assist in system integration, testing, and validation of cloud‑connected applications.
  • Document produced source code, system behavior, and test results.
  • Support existing applications and legacy implementations as needed.
  • Mentor associate engineers and interns.
  • Participate in application lab testing and occasional field testing.
