Maverick Currencies is hiring a Forex & Metals Trader based in Corpus Christi, TX. This is a remote, performance-based opportunity — we fund qualified US traders with up to $400,000 in firm capital and split profits 60% to 90% depending on performance tier.
For traders living in Corpus Christi, the math works in your favor. Central time puts the London/New York overlap — the highest-volume window in forex — squarely in mid-morning local, which is one of the cleanest schedules the market offers. The result: peak FX volume concentrates into the first few hours of your workday, so a disciplined morning routine matters more than long screen time.
Texas is Central time — Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, and Fort Worth traders work the same clock as Chicago. The London close and New York open hit mid-morning, the FX day's peak volume lands in a clean window, and Texas's cost of living means trading capital stretches further than in coastal hubs.
Compensation here is performance-driven. You keep a profit split on the trading returns you generate — 60% to 90% based on your experience and performance tier. Consistent profitable traders typically earn between $50,000 and $200,000 annually, though this is not a salary; if you do not trade profitably, you do not earn from this role. We are direct about that because it matters.
Q: Do I need a finance background?
A: No. Most of our successful traders come from outside finance entirely — engineering, the trades, the military, teaching, sales. Pattern recognition and discipline transfer well into trading; a degree in finance does not, particularly.
Q: What software or tools do I need?
A: We provide access to the platforms used by the firm and teach you how to use them in the program. You'll need a computer that can run trading software comfortably and stable internet — beyond that, hardware requirements are minimal.
