Maverick Currencies is hiring a FX Trader based in Newton, MA. This is a remote, performance-based opportunity — we fund qualified US traders with up to $400,000 in firm capital and split profits 60% to 90% depending on performance tier.
If you're trading from Newton, your local clock does most of the scheduling work for you. Eastern time aligns you directly with the New York open and the London close, so the high-volume hours of the FX day land in your morning instead of fighting your evening. Building a sustainable trading routine is half the battle for funded traders, and Newton's schedule supports that.
Massachusetts is Eastern time territory — Boston, Worcester, Springfield, Cambridge, and Lowell traders work the same clock as Wall Street. With a deep finance industry presence already in the state, the local trading community runs deeper than the population would suggest.
Maverick Currencies operates on a performance-share model. Traders are paid a percentage of the profits they generate trading the firm's capital — 60% to 90% depending on tier. Realistic annual earnings for profitable traders range from $50,000 to $200,000+. There is no base salary, no hourly rate, and no guaranteed income; your compensation is a function of your trading results.
Q: Do I have to pay for the program?
A: There are program fees associated with the evaluation and education components. We're transparent about pricing during the application process — there are no surprise costs and no hidden fees buried in fine print.
Q: Can I trade more than one strategy at once?
A: Once funded and consistent, traders can layer in additional strategies within the firm's risk framework. New traders should master one system before adding complexity — diluting your focus too early is one of the fastest ways to underperform.
