Maverick Currencies is hiring a Junior Funded Trader based in Lubbock, TX. This is a remote, performance-based opportunity — we fund qualified US traders with up to $400,000 in firm capital and split profits 60% to 90% depending on performance tier.
Lubbock-based traders share one of the cleanest setups in the country. Central time puts the London/New York overlap — the highest-volume window in forex — squarely in mid-morning local, which is one of the cleanest schedules the market offers. What you bring is the discipline; the location quietly takes care of the rest.
Texas is Central time — Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, and Fort Worth traders work the same clock as Chicago. The London close and New York open hit mid-morning, the FX day's peak volume lands in a clean window, and Texas's cost of living means trading capital stretches further than in coastal hubs.
Pay is structured as a profit split on trading returns, not a salary. Profitable traders typically retain 60% to 90% of the gains they generate, with annual earnings landing between $50,000 and $200,000+ for those who maintain consistency. Traders who do not produce profitable results do not generate earnings under this model — it is a performance-based role in the most direct sense.
Q: Are there sign-up bonuses or guaranteed earnings?
A: No. We don't offer sign-on bonuses, guaranteed minimums, or anything that resembles a salary floor. The model is honest about that — compensation is entirely tied to your trading results.
Q: Is this work-from-home or hybrid?
A: It's fully remote. There is no office to come into, no required in-person time, and no geographic limits beyond being US-based. Plenty of our traders have never met the team in person — the work doesn't require it.
