Maverick Currencies is hiring a Digital Asset Trader based in Surprise, AZ. This is a remote, performance-based opportunity — we fund qualified US traders with up to $400,000 in firm capital and split profits 60% to 90% depending on performance tier.
Based in Surprise? The trading day lands at a workable hour. The Mountain time zone gives you a compressed and productive trading day — London close at the start of the morning, the New York open shortly after, and the US session wrapping by early afternoon. It's a quietly efficient base for someone serious about treating trading as a profession.
Arizona doesn't observe daylight saving, which makes its trading hours unusually predictable year-round — Phoenix and Tucson traders see the same New York open clock-time every day of the year. That stability matters when you're building a daily routine around session opens and economic releases.
This is a performance-based contract role. Traders earn through a profit split on returns they generate — typically 60% to 90% depending on experience and performance tier. Estimated annual earnings range from $50,000 to $200,000+ for consistently profitable traders. Compensation is not a fixed salary or hourly wage; your earnings depend entirely on your trading results. Those who cannot trade profitably will not earn income from this role.
Q: What markets will I trade?
A: The Maverick Currencies program focuses on Forex and Crypto, with some exposure to metals. The day-trading rhythm is similar across these markets, and the rule-based systems we teach apply to all of them.
Q: Can I trade my own strategy?
A: Within the program you're learning and executing a defined system. Once funded, you have more flexibility, but the firm has risk parameters that always apply. Traders who try to run wildly different strategies from day one tend not to last.
