Maverick Currencies is hiring a Senior Funded Trader based in Reno, NV. This is a remote, performance-based opportunity — we fund qualified US traders with up to $400,000 in firm capital and split profits 60% to 90% depending on performance tier.
For traders living in Reno, the math works in your favor. The Pacific time zone gives you the longest viable FX day in the US — the Asian close, the full European session, and the New York open all unfold through the morning, with peak liquidity hitting before lunch. The result: peak FX volume concentrates into the first few hours of your workday, so a disciplined morning routine matters more than long screen time.
Nevada's Pacific time zone position puts Las Vegas, Henderson, Reno, and North Las Vegas traders on the longest viable FX day in the country. The Asian close, the full European session, and the New York open all unfold before most of the state is awake.
Compensation here is performance-driven. You keep a profit split on the trading returns you generate — 60% to 90% based on your experience and performance tier. Consistent profitable traders typically earn between $50,000 and $200,000 annually, though this is not a salary; if you do not trade profitably, you do not earn from this role. We are direct about that because it matters.
Q: Can I trade my own strategy?
A: Within the program you're learning and executing a defined system. Once funded, you have more flexibility, but the firm has risk parameters that always apply. Traders who try to run wildly different strategies from day one tend not to last.
Q: Is there a daily loss limit?
A: Yes — risk management at the trade level and at the daily level is non-negotiable. The specific limits depend on your account tier, but the principle is the same: protect the capital first, generate returns second.
