Summary:

• Prepare detailed takeoff quantities and cost estimates for construction scopes including civil works, structural steel, mechanical/electrical systems, and specialized aerospace facilities.

• Develop and maintain estimating templates, unit cost databases, and historical cost data specific to aerospace grade construction.

• Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to clarify scope and identify constructability issues.

• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and BIM models; validate assumptions and apply appropriate labor, material, and equipment rates.

• Generate bid packages, subcontractor quotations, and value engineering analyses; track bid results and provide post bid cost reviews.

• Support change order evaluation and cost impact analysis throughout the project lifecycle.

• Contribute to risk assessments, contingency planning, and cost control reporting for senior leadership.

• Use Artificial Intelligence and estimating programs.

• Proficiency with estimating software (Sage Estimating, WinEst, ProEst) and familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Certified Construction Estimator or equivalent experience (5+ years of construction estimating experience).

• 2–4 years of experience performing construction estimating for large-scale, high tech, or government contracted projects.

• Experience with Artificial Intelligence and estimating programs.

• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Sage Estimating, WinEst, ProEst).

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, codes, and industry standards (e.g., AIA, ASCE).

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and BIM models.

• Preferred: Knowledge of government contracting regulations and cost accounting standards.
