FW Trucking is a reputable transportation company originating in 1949 that specializes in the safe and efficient movement of goods across the United States. With a commitment to reliability and excellence, we are seeking a Trucking Fleet Manager to join our team at our Centreville, IL, location.
As the Trucking Fleet Manager at FW Trucking, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the OTR Trucking Division, which consists of 53' dry van & reefer units. Your primary objective will be to ensure the profitability of the Trucking Division while maintaining the highest level of safety and compliance.
At FW we have a mix of customer freight and spot market freight. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for using these two methods to keep their drivers moving while ensuring their overall Rate per Mile profitability. To do this, you'll need to utilize spot boards such as DAT, Truckstop.com, etc., negotiate with brokers, etc.
