MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school combined with some paid or volunteer experience working with youth in an organized setting. Under current State and Federal Law, requirements include proof of a high school diploma or its equivalent to be submitted with completed application and meet one of the 3 requirements: A) Completion of 2 years of study (48 semester units) at an institution of higher learning, or B) an Associate's Degree or higher, or C) pass a rigorous District-administered assessment that demonstrates the knowledge of and ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing and math. CERTIFICATES: Valid First Aid and CPR certificates (NO ONLINE CPR CERTIFICATE WILL BE ACCEPTED).

OPEN CONTINUOUSLY-Open to all qualified candidates with the selection process resulting in an Eligibility List that will be used to fill current vacancies, provide substitutes and any future vacancies that occur within one (1) year. SPECIAL INFORMATION: Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a drug test, TB test, fingerprinting and physical exam. The physical and drug screen are paid by the District. The candidate's portion of the fingerprinting fee is $40.00.
