Production OperatorLocation: Winston-Salem, NCPay: $42,500.00 annually
Join a well-established, family-owned chemical manufacturer operation in Winston-Salem, NC. With more than 50 years of success, the company manufactures, blends, and packages specialty chemicals for industries including automotive, construction, and life sciences. Position OverviewThe Production Operator will safely manufacture and package chemical products while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. This hands-on role involves batch production, equipment operation, quality checks, documentation, and working closely with production and quality teams to ensure compliance with company procedures and OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Manufacture and package chemical batches according to established procedures
  • Safely handle and transfer hazardous chemicals
  • Perform in-process quality checks and accurately complete production documentation
  • Operate production equipment and perform basic troubleshooting
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency
Qualifications
Required
  • Experience in chemical manufacturing, batch processing, or industrial production
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Safety-focused with a proactive, professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and meeting deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
  • Experience working with batch sizes ranging from approximately 2.5 to 5,500 gallons
  • Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and hazardous material handling
  • Experience performing basic laboratory testing, including pH, titration, viscosity, or solids analysis
  • Experience using Microsoft Office 365 or manufacturing software systems
