Job Opening Summary
The Clerk II is responsible for performing routine but varied clerical duties in accordance with company and/or departmental procedures. This includes clerical duties such a photocopying, compiling records, filing, tabulating, posting information, and distributing mail. The Clerk II applies knowledge of other department functions in performing the tasks of the position.
Job Opening Qualifications
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education:
Course in Medical Terminology or other health care field related education as needed by department.
Necessary Skills:
1. Exhibit an attention to detail.
2. Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
3. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
4. Good customer service and communication skills preferred.
5. PC knowledge.
6. Knowledge of office equipment (i.e., fax, photocopier, computer).
Required Experience:
1-2 years of General office or department specific experience.
Preferred Experience:
Two (2) years of department specific experience.
