What You’ll Do
- Assist with patient setup and preparation for cardiac procedures
- Operate fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images
- Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures and report findings to physicians
- Ensure radiation safety and operate digital imaging systems (PACS)
- Maintain equipment and adhere to quality control standards
- Document procedures accurately for billing and record-keeping
- Support a respectful and safe environment, adapting communication to patient needs
What You Need
Required:
- ARRT registration and licensure in radiologic sciences
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- 2+ years’ experience in a healthcare setting involving radiologic or cardiac procedures
- Proficiency with digital imaging, monitoring equipment, and computer applications
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences
