Serves as Contracting Officer for high priority classified programs. Responsible for all contracting activities of the Space Rapid Capabilities Office (Space RCO). Advises the director on all acquisition/business related matters and interfaces directly with ASAF(A) and SAF/GCQ for all regulatory contracting actions. Develops acquisition strategy and executes all phases of the contracting process in an environment of managed risks. Ensures multiple government services and agency requirements are satisfied. Special emphasis is placed on a streamlined program execution that accelerates delivery of operational capabilities to the field.

Unlimited Warrant or the ability to obtain and maintain an unlimited warrant is required; SpRCO will assist with obtaining the unlimited warrant if needed.
DAWIA Contract Certification or waiver with ability to achieve in 24 months
Previous Experience in Systems Contracting or work with ACAT I/II/III equivalent Acquisition Procurements highly desired
Strong oral and written skills, past briefing skills to senior leadership desired
Occasional travel expected.
