Job description

Job Description:

  • Support technical transformation initiatives
  • Lead planning, estimation, implementation, and delivery of projects and programs
  • Develop project plans covering milestones, deliverables, schedules, deadlines, changes, resource allocation, and budgets
  • Coordinate project tasks and implement solutions under management guidance
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation solutions
  • Coordinate and attend project meetings and communicate across departments
  • Coordinate with technology teams and clients to define and drive technical changes
  • Compile project status reports and provide updates to clients and management
  • Collaborate with and mentor other Project Managers
  • Provide proactive leadership and oversight for internal and client initiatives, projects, and installations from concept through completion
  • Ensure projects meet scope, requirements, deliverables, timeline, and required standards
  • Review project status, identify risks, and communicate them
  • Manage client expectations and balance Summit and client needs
  • Serve as an escalation point for pre-installation client support issues
  • Identify additional project work by communicating with clients and internal teams

Requirements:

  • Experience managing complex initiatives, including new implementations at data center facilities, managed services, application and infrastructure projects
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years in a project management office or as a project manager
  • Microsoft Office Suite training
  • Experience in MS Project or Visio required
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced technical office environment
  • Ability to organize, run, and document complex meetings
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate as needed
  • Leadership to inspire technical personnel throughout project stages
  • Experience working with client vision, business objectives, and critical success factors
  • Experience with architecture, development, integration, and deployment of project phases
  • Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in estimating and common project management desktop tools
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change
  • Ability to manage large or multiple projects with changing priorities
