We're looking for someone to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist II who:

This highly visible position leads the recruitment efforts for Physicians, Dentists, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for Kern, Fresno and Inyo counties and works closely with the Senior Clinical Team, HR Management and current providers. The ideal Talent Acquisition Specialist II will ensure that our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline for future expansion needs.

Essential Functions:

1. Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
2. Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
3. Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
4. Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
5. Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
6. Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
7. Manages intern/externship programs by conducting orientations; scheduling rotations and assignments; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns; advising managers on training and coaching.
8. Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
9. Reviews and updates job descriptions as necessary.
10. Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives as necessary.
11. Prepares and post jobs to ATS and appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges, etc.
12. Maintains communication with applicants during the selection process and assures that all applicants receive feedback regarding their application for employment.
13. Acts as a point of contact and builds influential applicant relationships during the selection process.
14. Collaborates with the hiring manager to efficiently drive the timely fill of open positions.
15. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
16. Provides analytical and well documented reports to management of recruitment metrics.
17. Promote company's reputation as a "good place to work"
18. Supports HR team and fills in for other HR members when needed.
19. Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
20. On a scheduled or unscheduled basis may be required to work extra hours including nights and weekends.

You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

1. Minimum of BA/BS in Business Administration, Public Administration or Public Health preferred. Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered. Professional certification required within 12 months of employment strongly preferred (SHRM, PHR, SPHR, CPTD or related).
2. Minimum of two years of professional experience in recruitment, sales, marketing or communications.
3. Experience in healthcare administration and financial management.
4. Excellent skills in writing and communication.
5. Computer skills necessary including understanding of marketing and technology platforms used for recruitment purposes.
6. Understanding of the provision of health care services to underserved populations required.
