Max Pay: $22/hr on W2 + $1/hr for Parking = $23/hr. on W2 All inclusive

Job Duration: 3 Months Contract

Schedule Notes:

Day shift 7:30am-4:30pm

Duties:

Job Summary:

To gather information, assess and provide direct care to patients. Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to render age-appropriate care.

Job Responsibilities:

-Assists in the collection of patient/family data that may include biophysical, psychosocial, developmental, cultural, and environmental information per practice protocol.

-Collects and documents vital signs, BMI, height/weight and reason for visit with 100% accuracy.

-Updates documentation to include if patient has received care at any other location since last visit.

-Documents of current medications, allergies and other information per practice protocol with 100% accuracy.

-Tasks are measured by observation of the evaluator, feedback from providers and review of electronic health records.

Bilingual, team player easily adaptable

Candidate will report to 8080 Stadium Drive and go to where ever the clinic is deployed to - candidate will ride with TCH Bus, not drive themselves.

Skills:

Required Skills & Experience:

-Fundamental knowledge of pediatric assessment and treatment. Also required is knowledge of related OSHA and CLIA/COLA guidelines and requirements, general office tasks, confidentiality and filing system.

-Knowledge of medical terminology.

-Ability to use thermometer, scales, sphygmomanometer/stethoscope, butterfly needles, hearing/vision screening equipment, pulse oximetry, typanometer, basic laboratory equipment, i.e., microscope, centrifuge, hematology analyzer, and specimen collection.

-Proficiency with treatments such as nebulizer, ear irrigation, and dressing changes.

-Familiarity with all office business machines, i.e., computer, multiline telephone, copier and fax machines.

-Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

-One (1) year of experience.

Education:

Required Education:

-H.S. Diploma or GED.

-Graduation from a medical assistant or emergency medical technician program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

-BLS - Cert-Basic Life Support from AHA.

-CCMA - Cert-Cert Clinical MA - CCMA National Health Career Association (NHA).

-CMA-AAM - Cert-Cert Medical Assistant American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).

-EMT - Emergency Medical Techn Texas Department of State Health Services.

OR

-EMT-A - Advanced EMT Texas Department of State Health Services.

OR

-EMT-B - Emergency Medical Techn-Basic Texas Department of State Health Services.

OR

-EMT-I - Emergency Medical Techn-Interm Texas Department of State Health Services.

OR

-EMT-P - Emergency Medical Techn-Parame Texas Department of State Health Services.

OR

-LIC PAR - Lic-Paramedic Texas Department of State Health Services.

OR

-NCMA - National Cert Med Assistant National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).

-NRCMA - Nat Reg Cert Med Assistant National Association of Health Professionals (NAHP).

OR

-RMA - Registered Medical Assistant American Association of Medical Personnel, American Allied Health, American Medical Technologist, or American Registry of Medical Assistants.

TCH On boarding Process - Mandatory for all Candidates:

• Minimum 3 weeks needed to complete the on boarding process once offer is accepted
• Must clear the 7 years Criminal Background Investigation
• Education will be Verified by Background Check Agency or the Candidate should be able to provide proof of the minimum Education required as per the job description
• Employment will be Verified by Background Check Agency
• Mandatory Lab Screens (Drug Screen, MMR, Varicella, Tdap and TB Test). Candidates can also share the old screening records so that we can check and then schedule the required screens accordingly
• Candidates cannot start on the assignment without completing the above. We will be scheduling and covering the cost for the above
