Key Responsibilities:

  • Support therapy operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Drive operational performance by improving productivity, staffing efficiency, clinical programming, and census growth.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop action plans to improve financial and clinical outcomes.
  • Conduct routine facility visits, operational audits, mock surveys, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations, PDPM, Part B billing, documentation standards, and state and federal requirements.
  • Assist with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, retention, and succession planning for therapy leadership and staff.
  • Collaborate closely with Chief Therapy Officer, Regional Therapy Consultant, Administrators, and interdisciplinary teams to address operational challenges and support facility initiatives.
  • Provide guidance during regulatory surveys and assist facilities with corrective action plans as needed.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement throughout the region.

Qualifications:

  • Active California license as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) experience in a skilled nursing setting.
  • At least 2 years of regional, multi-site, or healthcare leadership experience.
  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience required.
  • Experience supporting multiple facilities strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare Part A, PDPM, Medicare Part B, regulatory compliance, documentation standards, and rehabilitation operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, improve operational performance, and develop clinical leaders.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned Northern California territory.

Why Join Spyglass Healthcare?

  • Regional leadership opportunity with significant impact across multiple facilities.
  • Collaborative and supportive executive leadership team.
