Summary
We are seeking to add to our Engineering staff. Our engineers create 2D Shop Drawings of client's millwork from architectural drawings using Microvellum, review designs using Revu-Bluebeam, test the validity of millwork designs, optimize designs for production, generate panel saw optimizations using Cut Rite, create programs for single-part and nesting-based CNC's, and use WoodWOP to manage CNC operations.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and installers to ensure project success
Create detailed 2D shop drawings from architectural plans using Microvellum via AutoCAD
Maintain drawing revisions, engineering documentation, and production standards
Evaluate millwork designs for accuracy, feasibility, and production efficiency
Develop CNC programs for single-part and nesting-based machines
Optimize material layouts and panel saw operations using Cut Rite
Manage and support CNC operations using WoodWOP software
Review and verify project designs using Bluebeam Revu
Requirements
Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
Knowledge of CNC programming and manufacturing processes
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Experience in millwork, cabinetry, woodworking, or manufacturing engineering
Proficiency with Microvellum, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Cut Rite, and/or WoodWOP preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
