The CRE Loan Processing Administrator provides critical origination support to the Commercial Mortgage Division by executing administrative, system, and compliance-related tasks that support Commercial Real Estate loan transactions from Letter of Interest (LOI) return through loan funding. This role focuses on pipeline setup, third-party ordering, regulatory disclosures, and data integrity within core loan systems, enabling Loan Officers, Loan Processors, Underwriters, and Closers to advance transactions efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
The position operates within the Origination Support Group (OSG) and requires strong attention to detail, system proficiency, and knowledge of CRE compliance milestones, including Regulation B requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain Salesforce and nCino loan records, including opportunity setup and data validation.
- Support Salesforce/nCino + PrecisionLender record creation and ensure alignment with loan structure and pricing inputs.
- Perform Troy submissions in accordance with established origination workflows.
Third-Party & Due Diligence Ordering
- Order and manage credit reports and LEAP submissions in support of credit decisioning.
- Conduct UCC searches and property profile, FEMA pulls to support collateral review.
- Track completion and upload of third-party reports into designated systems and repositories.
Regulatory & Compliance Support
- Manage Reg B Appraisal Release disclosure process and complete required LEAP documentation within mandated timelines.
- Support REG B management of incomplete credit packages and Application Complete timeline compliance tracking and documentation in accordance with CMD policies and regulatory job aids.
Billing & Financial Administration
- Manage TotalBiller activity, including weekly DDA transfers via SAR5 reporting.
- Ensure billing accuracy, reconciliation, and proper documentation retention.
Data Integrity & Documentation
- Upload, index, and maintain accurate loan documentation within nCino DocMan and other designated systems.
- Ensure system data reflects current loan status, milestones, and compliance checkpoints.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Must meet the requirements to be commissioned as a Notary Public
- Two to three or more years experience in CRE loan administration or at least five years transferable experience in Commercial loan administration
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Advanced level of knowledge in all areas of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending including, but not limited to, letters of credit, tax credit transactions, borrowing base lending, multi-phased construction and transactions secured by multiple collateral properties
- Strong technical expertise in the closing and loan management functions
- Demonstrated ability to close complex CRE loans and manage a CRE loan portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of CRE finance, law, documentation, accounting, and data systems
- Experience with Copilot or similar AI tools is preferred.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $68,850.00 - $81,000.00
