Position Summary - A member of Human Resources' Service Hub Team, the Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for assisting with comprehensive full-cycle recruitments and providing essential search committee support for all benefits-eligible positions across the university. This role is crucial in attracting a diverse pool of highly qualified candidates, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and employment laws, and fostering a positive candidate experience. The Recruiting Coordinator collaborates closely with departmental leadership, HR Partners, and various university units to align recruitment strategies with organizational goals and enhance employer branding.
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Demonstrated experience in recruitment coordination, human resources, or a high-volume project management role. Proven experience implementing recruiting best practices, including structured interviewing, candidate experience management, and consulting with hiring managers to define job requirements and recruitment timelines. Demonstrated ability to draft professional correspondence, job descriptions and other written communications with a high degree of accuracy and a focus on inclusive language. Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including hiring managers, department heads, and external candidates. Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment cycles simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working in higher education. Demonstrated experience in implementing diversity outreach strategies. Experience with recruitment marketing, social media sourcing, or employer branding initiatives. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.

Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement - Salary is determined by several factors, and new employees typically start near the Q1 level to allow for later growth within the salary band. PSU has a structured process for determining starting compensation, taking into account years of related experience, applicable skills, knowledge, and abilities, market parity, and internal equity. The starting annual salary for this position will be $55,020 $61,898, but may be negotiated above this rate, depending on the factors above, the hiring department's budget, and HR approval. An excellent benefits package includes 95% premium-paid healthcare; a generous retirement and vacation package; and reduced tuition rates for the employee, spouse, or dependent at any of the Oregon University System schools.
