We have partnered with a large construction company in the Sarasota, FL area to provide them with a Construction Estimator. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
1. Qualifications Construction or other Construction Related Degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience is preferred.
2. 5 years of commercial estimating experience required, preferably with a general contractor or commercial developer.
3. Must be able to read blueprints.
4. Experience using cost estimating software and developing detailed quantity take offs and application of historical cost data to prepare estimates.
Cost Estimating for commercial retail, industrial, and hotel projects. Obtain, distribute, and manage plans or specifications as directed by supervisor for proposed projects. Accurately prepare detailed cost estimates of all aspects of a proposed project including but not limited to quantity take off, detailed cost estimate, line item and subcontractor summary by division.
