Job description
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one care for a resident within our skilled nursing facility. The CNA will assist the resident with activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This is a PRN (as needed) position requiring flexibility to work the schedule needed by the facility. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and reliable individual with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Assist resident with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and feeding. Monitor and report changes in resident's condition to the nursing staff. Maintain a clean and safe environment for the resident. Document care provided accurately and timely. Assist with ambulation and transfers. Provide emotional support and companionship to the resident. Required Qualifications Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience providing one-on-one care. Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in performing ADLs. Ability to monitor and document patient conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Shift Details Assignment Dates: May 18, 2026 - June 29, 2026 Shift Type: Day Shift Duration: 12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Days per Week: 3 Contract Length: 6 weeks Call Requirements: Not specified. Weekend Rotation: Not specified. Licensing Requirements Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
