Job details

We are seeking reliable Equipment Operators to join our fast-paced distribution facility in Shepherdsville, KY. Operators will move inventory, fulfill customer orders, and load/unload freight safely using powered industrial trucks (PIT).

1st Shift: 6am-4:30pm M-F $16.50 / hour

2nd Shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm M-F $17.50 / hour

Responsibilities:
Safe operation of multiple equipment types, including:
Sit-Down Forklift: Loading, unloading, and staging pallets on docks.
Stand-Up Reach Truck: Rack storage, replenishment, and put-away.
Order Picker / Cherry Picker: Elevated picking at heights up to 20+ feet while tethered via harness.
Use RF scanners to locate items, confirm picks, and update inventory systems. Stage materials for shipment, wrap pallets, and verify order accuracy.
Maintain safety standards, perform pre-shift equipment inspections, and keep work areas clean

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Experience: 12+ months of experience operating powered industrial equipment (Sit-Down, Stand-Up, or Cherry Picker).
Safety & Heights: Comfortable working at elevated heights on an Order Picker while utilizing fall protection.
Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, and stand for 8???10 hour shifts.
Basic Skills: Basic math, reading comprehension, and familiarity with RF scanners.
