Job description
A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Senior Oracle Database Developer

Position Type: Full time, Hybrid Onsite Contract --- (***Hybrid Position – 3 days onsite and 2 days remote work in a week!!!)
Duration: 12-18 Months contract
Location (s): Either Charlotte, NC / Jersey City, NJ / Plano, TX

Job Description:

Must have Technical Skills and Experience:
Senior Oracle Database Developer with a Minimum experience of 8-10 years of and Should have Treasury (Funds Transfer or Payments) and Banking Domain experience along with Scrum Agile Mthodology experience,
• Advanced SQL: Mastery of complex joins, subqueries, and analytical functions.
• Procedural Blocks: Write anonymous blocks using conditional structures and loops.
• Stored Subprograms: Create and manage reusable procedures, functions, and packages.
• Database Triggers: Implement automated row-level and statement-level database actions.
• Cursor Management: Handle static, dynamic, and explicit REF CURSOR types.
• Exception Handling: Design robust error-trapping routines using custom exception blocks.
• Collections & Records: Utilize composite data structures like nested tables and associative arrays.
• ETL Processes: Design pipelines using SQL*Loader, External Tables, and UTL_FILE.
• IDE Tools: Navigate development environments like Oracle SQL Developer or PL/SQL Developer.
• OS Scripting: Write basic Linux or Unix Shell scripts to automate batch operations.
• Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers and demonstrates proven track record of in-depth and hands-on software development and architecture.
• Understanding of basic financial and managerial accounting concepts - both from a GAAP and IFRS lens.
• Must have an Understanding of Change Management Functions as it pertains to internal bank operations: BSM, Balance Sheet, CCAR, RRP, GRRP

Project Introduction:
Resolution & Recovery Planning (RRP) is a regulatory mandated process that large banks perform.

Role and Responsibilities:
Developing new functionalities in an established core application in Treasury to enhance its RRP capabilities.
Role also encompasses trade bookings within Treasury - Funds Transfer Pricing.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Hourly Pay Rate Range: $60/hr-$65/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
