Responsibilities:
The Performance & Incentives team at TikTok are constantly benchmarking and striving for the best practice & return on investment in developing competitive C&B policies. The team works on a lot of interesting problems. Whether it is developing new world-class compensation policies, diving deep into market research, analyzing big data and benchmarking. The team works on a lot of cool and exciting projects to come up with the best ways to serve our organization. Given the nature of our work, it also creates huge opportunities for collaboration with departments in and outside of the HR organization.
1. Global Performance and Compensation Policy Development: Collaborate closely with the central Performance & Incentive (P&I) team to design and refine performance and compensation policies, ensuring they are internal equitable, external competitive, and compliant with regional laws;
2. Business Performance and Compensation Oversight: Oversee performance reviews and compensation adjustments for supporting businesses, provide training and support to HRBPs, and ensure processes run smoothly. Utilize feedback and data to improve policies and systems;
3. Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate collaboration with internal stakeholders (HRBPs, HR ops, payroll, legal) and external vendors to execute projects and implement policies effectively;
4. Market Research: Conduct research on industry compensation practices and analyze internal performance data to enhance policy relevance and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree or above; 2. Strong analytical capabilities: Analyze trends, surveys, and spreadsheets to determine compensation strategies; 3. Great communication and stakeholder management skills: Be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with employees, the broad HR team and business leads; also be comfortable presenting programs and plans to employee groups, HR and leadership teams; 4. Strong Ethics and Discretion: Deal with confidential information and therefore, must be ethical and discrete when it comes to handling sensitive information; 5. Hands on experience with managing large datasets, MS Office Skills with advanced knowledge of Excel. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Advantageous to have at least 3 years of experience in HR compensation or performance function; 2. Experienced working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a tech firm.
Compensation Description (Annually): The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $115520 - $209380 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
