The Purchasing Agent II serves as a subject matter expert for purchase order best practices across complex IT&S service lines. This role reviews approved requisitions to generate and release purchase orders, manages PO change requests, and ensures compliance with accounting and audit standards. The position analyzes financial system reports to resolve PO and invoice discrepancies, monitors receiving activity, and supports timely vendor payment. Acting as a liaison between customers, vendors, and internal stakeholdersincluding Contracting, Finance, Tax, and Corporate Purchasingthe Specialist supports procurement operations and drives continuous process improvement initiatives in alignment with the organization's Mission and Values.
