Job description
Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to support the accounting department by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of accounts payable transactions. This role is responsible for validating financial data, maintaining organized records across systems, and supporting general ledger accuracy, including international transactions.
In this role, you will help ensure our financial operations run smoothly while contributing to a workplace that values both professional growth and personal well-being. The position plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting internal controls, and enabling smooth day-to-day accounting operations.
The ideal candidate is dynamic and eager to grow with our company by living our core values - family, passion, integrity, leadership, and quality - while maintaining a rigorous approach to financial accuracy. Candidates should have strong accounting skills, experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), and a solid foundation in financial systems and technology. This includes the ability to work across integrated platforms, leverage automation tools, and collaborate effectively with IT to support and improve financial processes and reporting. They should demonstrate a proactive mindset for improving efficiency through technology, be comfortable supporting system implementations and enhancements, and have a strong focus on data integrity. The candidate will also possess a strong understanding of overall business and accounting operations and be comfortable working cross-functionally to support accurate and scalable financial processes. This role offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility over time, with the potential to grow within the accounting team and support future leadership of the accounts payable function as part of the organization's long-term succession planning.
