Maverick Currencies is hiring a Proprietary Trader based in Daytona Beach, FL. This is a remote, performance-based opportunity — we fund qualified US traders with up to $400,000 in firm capital and split profits 60% to 90% depending on performance tier.
Daytona Beach is a sensible base for remote trading. Eastern time aligns you directly with the New York open and the London close, so the high-volume hours of the FX day land in your morning instead of fighting your evening. You're not trying to outwork the market — you're matching your hours to where the liquidity actually is, then stepping away.
Florida sits in the Eastern time zone and serves as a major hub for remote professionals. Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Fort Lauderdale traders all catch the London/New York overlap mid-morning — the highest-volume hours in forex — without needing to rearrange their lives around the clock.
This is a contract role with no fixed salary or hourly pay. Earnings come entirely from a profit split on the trading returns you generate, ranging from 60% to 90% of profits depending on your tier. Consistently profitable traders earn $50,000 to $200,000+ per year. Traders who are not consistently profitable will not earn income — the model rewards results, not effort.
Q: What software or tools do I need?
A: We provide access to the platforms used by the firm and teach you how to use them in the program. You'll need a computer that can run trading software comfortably and stable internet — beyond that, hardware requirements are minimal.
Q: What time zone do I need to trade in?
A: Any US time zone works. The program is built around the London/New York overlap, but Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern traders all run profitable accounts. Your local clock changes the shape of your day, not the viability of trading.
