The Restoration Project Manager leads field production for residential and commercial water, fire, smoke, mold and related restoration projects. This role is responsible for overseeing job progress, supervising technicians, ensuring quality and budget compliance, managing documentation for insurance purposes, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers and adjusters. Strong leadership, technical knowledge, and customer service skills are essential to success in this position.

Key responsibilities include managing and overseeing residential and commercial restoration projects from start to completion, supervising and supporting technicians assigned to each job, monitoring activities to ensure scope compliance, communicating job processes, timelines, and next steps clearly to customers, interfacing with insurance adjusters, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues, creating or assisting with estimates using Xactimate, inspecting and scoping losses onsite, maintaining accurate job documentation, tracking labor, equipment, and materials, conducting quality assurance inspections, obtaining customer approvals, and requesting payments when necessary, and training and mentoring technicians as needed.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred, strong background in restoration and/or construction, experience managing teams and leading field operations, proficiency with Xactimate and mobile job documentation software, excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills, valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines, and willingness to participate in an on-call schedule.
Preferred certifications include WRT Water Damage Restoration Technician, ASD Applied Structural Drying Technician, FSRT Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician, and OCT Odor Control Technician.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks as needed, ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and work for extended periods, must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators, and work performed in both indoor and outdoor environments with varying conditions.
