The job of an Athletes Global After School Program Leader involves overseeing all procedures involved in a school program, academic support and homework assistance, among others. Depending on the institution or organization, the job of an after school program manager may include monitoring of budgets, moving supplies between locations, supervision of programs, and implementation of projects and activities, among others.
Education/Experience Requirements
A successful candidate must possess 1 year experience of managing youth programs or after school programs.
Skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills; effective leadership and management skills; organization and multi-tasking skills; proficiency in MS Office applications; strong negotiation and interpersonal skills; proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; and advanced knowledge in math, laws and their application in an after school setting.
Specific work elements:
Supervise instructors and all activities related to instructor management (processing timesheets, expense reports, reviewing lesson plans, etc.)
Conduct regular program site visits, including conducting instructor observations and providing timely feedback.
Serve as the primary point of contact for site issues and respond accordingly and timely
Develop and maintain relationships with site contacts and instructors
Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of instructors
Secure the appropriate supplies for each program
Plan, schedule, and organize all instructor meetings
Collect and analyze data from all stakeholders
Address quality and logistical issues directly with instructors and sites
Write weekly programmatic reports, provide program highlights, and make recommendations based on findings
Under the direction of the Business Development Leader, manage special initiatives and projects such as vendor fairs, etc.
Ensure that all area programs meet AGC program quality expectations
Other duties as assigned
Work Hours (Hybrid): Monday- Friday (at minimum 9 hours per week)

Pay rate: $21-$24
