The Healthcare Project Manager will lead healthcare-focused projects and operational initiatives, ensuring deliverables align with organizational objectives, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for developing project plans, overseeing operations, monitoring project performance, generating executive-level reports, and communicating progress to leadership, customers, and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will bring strong healthcare project management experience with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across clinical, operational, analytics, and IT environments. Experience supporting Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), and value-based care initiatives is strongly preferred. This individual must be highly organized, solutions-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities within fast-paced and regulated healthcare settings.

What We're Looking For...

  • Experience leading analytics and reporting initiatives supporting payer-provider partnerships and healthcare operations.
  • Experience supporting Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), population health, or value-based care initiatives.
  • Strong ability to manage cross-functional teams across clinical, operational, analytics, and IT environments.
  • Experience developing executive-level reporting, dashboards, operational metrics, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Proven ability to lead process improvement, workflow optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives within healthcare settings.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, compliance requirements, payer-provider relationships, and project delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact effectively with executive leadership, customers, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and operate effectively within fast-paced and regulated healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight for administrative and operational activities, including risk management, quality assurance, compliance monitoring, task prioritization, and adherence to contract deliverables.
  • Support hiring and onboarding activities to ensure timely staffing and operational readiness.
  • Prepare and maintain staffing reports, operational metrics, trend analysis, and executive-level reporting documentation.
  • Maintain records for meeting minutes, project deliverables, and customer reporting requirements.
  • Represent Enlightened in meetings with customer representatives and external stakeholders while preparing project and operational reports.
  • Develop work plans, project schedules, resource plans, cost estimates, and status reports.
  • Conduct project meetings and track deliverables, milestones, risks, and action items.
  • Lead recurring customer stakeholder meetings and provide project updates to maintain strong customer engagement.
  • Implement and improve processes that support effective project and program management.
  • Monitor project performance and resolve issues affecting successful project execution and delivery.
  • Deliver customer reporting utilizing customer-specific tools and reporting platforms as required.
  • Support initiatives related to Medicaid, Medicare, managed care operations, compliance, and population health programs.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for executive leadership and HR management regarding project and operational activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare program or project management experience, including project planning, scheduling, reporting, onboarding, data analytics, and stakeholder communications.
  • Prior experience supporting Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), provider operations, population health initiatives, or healthcare administration environments strongly preferred.
  • PMP certification strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, healthcare contracts, Medicaid and Medicare programs, compliance requirements, and project delivery methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.
