Responsibilities for the Nurse Director of Surgery include staffing strategy and retention, budget stewardship, surgeon relations and block optimization, preference card governance, regulatory readiness, safety and HRO practices, implant/consumable cost management, OR throughput and on-time starts, EHR optimization, and continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigmawhile partnering with friendly nurses and a diverse healthcare professional team that thrives on teamwork, respect, and shared wins.
