Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CTO to join our Space Solutions Sector team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Create and update Space Solutions Sector technical strategy: Ensures strategy aligns with Defense & Intelligence Business Unit and overall company strategy. Document technical vision for sector and compare to current state. Develop roadmap to drive from current state to future state. Make recommendations to fill gaps with capability enhancements and/or M&A recommendations.
• Oversee Space Solutions Sector Solution Architects in their role of leading technical volumes of proposals. Ensure proposals are responsive and provide discriminators.
• Assist Space Solutions Sector Business Development and Capture activities to determine the best contract opportunities to pursue; ensuring they align with overall sector strategy. Assist with customer engagements by developing briefings that show company discriminators.
• Continuously evaluate emerging solutions and services, technology trends, industry shifts, and best practices to keep the sector at the forefront of relevant innovation.
• Foster cross-sector, cross-business unit, and cross-company collaboration and drive internal and external partnerships, accelerating the pace of technological advancement.
• Build and refine a high-performing technology organization to drive new business and on-contract growth while cultivating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Manage the technology budget, allocating resources efficiently and in line with sector objectives, while maintaining cost-effective solutions.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Detailed working knowledge of missions and operations of DOD Space operational commands/organizations, missile defense commands/organizations, DOD Service commands/organizations and ability to translate this knowledge into a coherent, actionable sector strategy.
• Masters degree in technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of space domain, involving space protection and resiliency, cyber operations, ISR, communications, ground systems, artificial intelligence, data analytics, network operations, systems engineering.
• Proven leadership abilities, with a history of mentoring and developing high-performing technical talent.
• Strategic thinker with robust business acumen, skilled at aligning technology initiatives with broader organizational goals to drive growth and success.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Former space-related operational military experience a big plus.
• Active TS with SCI eligibility.
• US citizen.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.
