We are seeking a motivated Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the opening and ongoing operations of our Clackamas / Happy Valley location. This role partners closely with the General Manager to ensure the restaurant delivers exceptional guest experiences while building a strong, engaged team.
This position is designed as a leadership development role, preparing high-performing leaders for future General Manager opportunities within our growing organization.

What You'll Do
Support Restaurant Operations
Partner with the General Manager to help lead daily operations in a high-volume fast-casual environment.
Maintain strong speed-of-service performance during peak hours Ensure accurate and efficient kitchen and service execution Support daily restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures Help maintain brand standards and operational excellence Assist with scheduling and labor management Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Deliver Exceptional Employee & Guest Experiences
Help create an environment where every employee and guest feels welcomed and valued.
Model hospitality and positive leadership behaviors Address guest concerns quickly and professionally Support a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant environment Help reinforce a culture where team members feel supported and motivated to deliver great service
Develop and Support the Team
Assist in building a strong team culture that reflects the Aloha Spirit.
Help recruit, interview, and onboard new team members Provide coaching and feedback to team members and shift leaders Support ongoing training and development programs Recognize strong performance and help maintain accountability to standards Assist the General Manager in developing future leaders within the restaurant
Support Business Performance
Help ensure the restaurant operates as a successful business by supporting operational systems and financial performance.
Assist in managing labor, food cost, and controllable expenses Help monitor operational reports and key performance metrics Support consistent execution of training systems and operational standards Ensure compliance with company policies and all local, state, and federal regulations Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards Securely transport cash deposits when required
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required 13 years of restaurant leadership experience preferred Experience supervising or leading teams in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of restaurant operations and performance metrics Valid driver's license and proof of insurance Oregon Food Handler's Permit Basic computer and POS system knowledge Must be at least 18 years old Spanish bilingual is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

Schedule Expectations
Full-time leadership role Availability required for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Typical schedule averages 4045 hours per week Must be able to support the restaurant during peak business needs
