Territory Manager Specialty Accounts
The Territory Manager of Specialty Accounts is responsible for leading a sales team to achieve targets and grow market share across the complex rehab technology industry. This role involves overseeing day-to-day sales activities, coaching and mentoring specialty account managers, and developing strategies to drive performance. Pay Range: $75,000 to $85,000 base salary plus eligible for performance bonuses. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Specialty Account Managers (SAMs) to achieve/exceed sales goals.
- Hires, develops and manages performance of sales team, providing feedback, coaching and support as needed.
- Lead team members to be accountable by assessing competency, capacity and performance; help influence their success as measured by their results.
- Onboard new SAMs and provide hands-on field level experiential learning opportunities.
- Performs monthly field ride-along with direct reports.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to capture new business and grow existing accounts.
- Builds cross-functional teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term growth.
- Represents Numotion at conferences, trade fairs and networking events.
- Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform the job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion's mission.
- Adhere to employee or customer confidentiality and comply with Numotion's policies and federal regulations.
- Always provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience leading, mentoring and/or coaching others.
Preferred Competencies and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) funding and payer requirements.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology.
- Ability to develop and execute multiple business priorities and approaches to meet objectives.
- Demonstrates ability to thrive in a matrixed environment, working with cross functional team members to achieve shared goals.
- Demonstration of exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills both internally and externally with customers.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address all levels within the organization.
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Physical Work Requirements:
- 60% travel required across all states in the territory including FL, AL, MS, LA, and TN.
- Frequent use of hands, wrists, fingers associate with computer equipment.
- Prolonged periods of time working at a desk and/or on a computer.
- Occasionally move and reach with arms and hands.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
