Drug and alcohol abuse is highly detrimental to the health and safety of employees in the workplace. All job applicants are subject to drug and alcohol testing. Any offer of employment is contingent upon such applicant testing negative. No such person shall be permitted to begin work until his or her test results have been obtained. No applicant will be hired if the individual tests positive for drugs or alcohol, except for a previously disclosed legal drug that a licensed physician has prescribed for a then-existing injury or illness. Before an alcohol or drug test is administered, the applicant must sign a Leo Tech, LLC consent form authorizing the test and permitting the release of test results to the Medical Review Officer (MRO) and the designated Human Resources Representative. Failure to sign the release or cooperate in test procedures shall be deemed a withdrawal of the employment application.
