Uses evidence-based practice to develop and maintain guidelines for safe, effective care./liliProvides clinical expertise, guiding team members in delivering developmentally appropriate care and evaluating outcomes for infants and children with complex health needs./liliOversees staff and financial resource allocation, adjusting as needed to meet patient care demands while maintaining budget compliance./liliEstablishes department performance metrics and collaborates with Associate Clinical Managers to achieve clinical, operational, and developmental goals. Identifies and acts on opportunities for continuous improvement./liliResolves escalated, complex, or sensitive patient/family issues and operational concerns, making inclusive, data-informed decisions that address root causes./liliInterprets and enforces quality and safety standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and promote best practices./liliLeads and supports a culture of clinical inquiry by mentoring team members on practice-based research and quality improvement projects./liliRepresents the department in senior leadership and interdepartmental meetings, fostering collaboration across teams and participating in organizational committees./li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications/h3pEDUCATION Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Masters in health related field required. EXPERIENCE - Three years of clinical experience and two years of nursing leadership experience in supervision, leading clinical practice projects, serving as a charge nurse or house supervisor, and/or precepting./ppPrevious operating room nurse experience strongly preferred./ppLICENCURES/CERTIFICATION(S) Registered Nurse (RN) License, BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least 6 months left before expiration is required upon hire. American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or Magnet recognized Certification./ph3Salary Information/h3pPay is dependent on applicants relevant experience.
