Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of sales support and customer service teams to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction
- Develop, document, and maintain standardized sales processes, policies, and reporting tools
- Lead CRM administration, ensuring data accuracy, pipeline visibility, and system optimization
- Partner with sales leadership to forecast revenue, analyze performance, and identify growth opportunities
- Manage and mentor customer service team to meet service-level and retention goals
- Ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries, order processing, and issue escalation
- Build and track customer satisfaction metrics and service performance KPIs
- Support sales enablement by coordinating proposals, quotes, and contracts
- Develop training programs and tools to improve sales team effectiveness
- Collaborate with marketing to align lead management and campaign follow-up
- Create dashboards and reports to track sales KPIs and team performance
- Provide actionable insights to leadership for strategic planning and decision-making
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and customer requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
- 5+ years of B2B sales operations management experience in industrial markets
- Experience working in organizations with revenue exceeding $250MM
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven ability to build and optimize sales processes and systems
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
- Strong project management skills across cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset and high accountability
