Job description

Support Services Project Manager (Specialist No. 1)

Shreveport, LA (Remote)

Long-term Contract

The scope of the proposed services will include the following:

Subject matter expert for data migration and conversion activities;

  • Creation of project documentation: daily, weekly, semi-monthly and monthly status reports; project schedules and plans, meeting minutes, risks and issues, other documentation as needed;
  • Analyzing data conversion plans and approaches;
  • Conduct feasibility analysis of project plans;
  • Analyzing risks and issues, help identify ways to mitigate risks;

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory :

  • Ten (10) years experience in leading data migration, cleansing and conversion projects

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:

  • Experience with Corrections processes
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Scrum Methodology
  • Ability to understand complex business problems
  • Understanding of data conversion challenges
  • Understanding of the underlying technical architecture and legacy systems
