The Impact You'll Make in this Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Technology Global Talent Portfolio Manager with deep expertise in Global Talent systems and processes, including performance, talent reviews, succession, goals, skills, development planning, internal mobility, and recruiting experience tools. In this leadership role, you will own end-to-end solution design, roadmap execution, and delivery for Global Talent solutions, with a strong emphasis on Workday as the system of record, supported by Fuel50, Paradox, and SumTotal.
You will serve as the primary technology partner to Talent Management, Recruiting, Learning, and Listening HR COEs, translating global strategies into scalable, high-quality technical solutions. This role requires deep Workday Talent expertise, strong product and portfolio ownership, and the ability to lead Workday leads and analysts while driving complex initiatives across multiple platforms. Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (completed and verified prior to start)
- Eight (8) years of HR Technology experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Five (5) years of Workday configuration experience in Talent, Performance, Succession, Skills, or related modules in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Advanced Workday Talent configuration expertise (Performance, Talent, Goals, Skills, Succession).
- Experience with Fuel50, Paradox, SumTotal, and/or Workday Learning.
- Workday Pro certification preferred.
- Strong portfolio, project, and vendor management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to influence HR leaders and senior stakeholders.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or performing quality oversight for analysts or delivery teams.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Work location:
- Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
Relocation: May be authorized
