Solara / MARS Builder Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to lead multifamily solar projects within our new construction division. This role manages projects from preconstruction through PTO and closeout, ensuring alignment across design, permitting, utility coordination, and construction execution.
The Project Manager owns schedule, budget, and scope while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, including builders, developers, general contractors, and utilities. This is a hands-on role requiring the ability to interpret plans, navigate California solar programs, and proactively drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment.
37+ years of project management experience in solar, electrical, or construction
Experience with multifamily or light commercial solar projects in California preferred
Strong understanding of construction documents and workflows
Familiarity with Title 24 (T24) and California solar programs
Experience with solar PV and energy storage systems (ESS) preferred
Strong project ownership and execution mindset
Clear, professional communication across teams and stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Proficiency in Excel and project management tools (Procore, Smartsheet, or similar)
Organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven
