Job description

Product Manager For Fraud Labs

We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Product Manager to be focused specifically on our fraud prevention and risk reduction software products (Fraud Labs). Fraud Labs is at the core of our mission to stop fraudulent activity at the point of identity, leveraging AI-driven document analysis, biometric matching, and behavioral signals to detect suspicious activity in real time. It is our internal test lab to ensure we continue to stop increasingly sophisticated deepfake IDs, synthetic identities, and other types of organized fraud and we scale faster than the fraudsters do. The Product Manager will be responsible for shaping the roadmap, defining product requirements, and working closely with engineering, data science, compliance, and customer-facing teams to ensure that IDScan.net software remains a market leader in combating identity fraud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the FraudLabs product roadmap aligned with company goals, customer needs, and emerging fraud trends, specifically in the financial, fintech, logistics, freight, and automotive markets.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to ensure FraudLabs offers a best-in-class approach to ID verification, document authentication, and fraud prevention.
  • Identify and prioritize features that address critical threats such as fake IDs, deepfakes, synthetic identities, forged documents, replay attacks, and biometric spoofing.
  • Partner with engineering and data science teams to design and deliver advanced features including: Face-matching algorithms and biometric liveness detection. Repeat offender detection and suspicious activity monitoring. AI-powered document scanning and tamper detection. Fraud pattern recognition and anomaly detection dashboards. Integration of third party risk scoring sources (both authoritative and non-authoritative)
  • Translate customer feedback and fraud intelligence into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Intake customer escalations, suspicious activity logs, fraudulent documents, and threat scenarios to stress test our brick and mortar solutions (VeriScan, ParseLink) and digital software offerings (DIVE, SDKs).
  • Continuously analyze system performance and customer usage to drive feature enhancements and product optimization that help our customers better prevent ID fraud, comply with KYC/AML standards, and understand their risk profile across their geographies and lines of business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
  • 5+ years of product management experience in identity verification, fraud detection, cybersecurity, fintech, or regtech.
  • SQL fluency.
  • You know your way around a command line and can handle large datasets and draw conclusions from behavioral and usage metrics.
  • Strong understanding of fraud detection technologies, biometric verification, document scanning, and digital identity management.
  • Experience with AI/ML-based solutions, risk scoring engines, and API-driven SaaS products.
  • Experience working with physical hardware and IOT products a plus.
  • Experience in identity verification or cybersecurity a plus.
