Job description

Lentech is hiring a Operations Research Analyst:

  • Required : Active and current TS/SCI w FSP through MD (DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DONT HAVE THIS) Experience conducting problem definition and gathering data requirements from stakeholders Oral and written communications skills to explain data analysis to stakeholders 10+ years of experience with conducting analysis of management and operational problems using operations research techniques 4+ years of experience with the application of modeling and simulation to address decision analysis problems 4+ years of experience conducting multiple objective decision analysis or cost benefit analysis in support of research objectives 4+ years of experience with PANDAS, R, Excel and VBA, ARENA, OCTAVE, Tableau, Gurobi and CPLEX, EXTENDSIM, SAS, NETICA, stats models, Stata, MATLAB, or SPSS Preferred : Experience with developing and performing verification and validation of models to ensure adequacy Experience developing and delivering training materials for operations research techniques Experience briefing results and preparing written reports on analytic approaches and methodologies Experience with the use of machine learning and large language models to solve complex problems Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field Education Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field About Lentech, Inc .   • There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

The range shown below is the national average for the position. The proposed salary range for this position is:
