FLORAL/DEPT LEADER

Implement all company and division policies to achieve maximum sales and profits in the Floral department.

Desired * Past work record reflects dependability and integrity. * Prior Floral experience. * Supervisory skills. * Develop maximum customer relations by floral department personnel through personal example of friendliness and courtesy and implementation of all company policies. * Be perceptive and handle customer complaints. * Responsible for receiving, processing, and producing Florist Transworld Delivery orders for delivery * Coach and train on pricing, price marking, rotation, stocking, insuring the proper emphasis on customer courtesy and productivity. * Provide active support of our Customer 1st culture. * Plan, organize, direct and control the activities of the Floral Department. * Direct the receiving, storing, pricing, and merchandising of all floral products. * Order properly to maintain adequate stock and supplies and guard against waste and pilferage. * Maintain and submit required records and reports and use them effectively. * Maintain effective and good house cleaning in all areas * Analyze continuously all aspects of Floral Department and periodically make changes or make recommendations to store manager. * Promote, communicate and implement company initiatives and process improvements to direct reports in a positive manner. * Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports. * Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment. * Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner. * Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information. * Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues. * Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults. * Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
