Job description

Project Manager/Project Coordinator

Immediate need for a talented Project Manager/Project Coordinator. This is a 06+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Jacksonville, FL/San Antonio, TX (Onsite).

Pay Range: $36 - $38/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hours: 8 hrs. per day || 40 hrs. in a week
  • Duration: 25 weeks with chance of extension
  • Oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring proactive progress tracking and deadline adherence
  • Manage escalations by professionally engaging with healthcare providers to obtain necessary medical records
  • Collaborate closely with a Project Coordinator, effectively delegating administrative tasks
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment
  • Identify and resolve project risks or bottlenecks with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Project Locations:
  • San Antonio, TX 78249 o Parking: EY occupies most of this location with 2 floors. There is plenty of parking and covered parking also available with 2 or 3 EV charging parking spots. Disabled parking spots are also available on a first come first serve basis. Parking free.
  • Jacksonville, Florida, 32258. o Parking: Our offices are located on the 5th Floor of the building with plenty of parking spots, no parking garage or covered parking available and no EV charging spots are available either. We do have disabled parking spots available on a first come first serve basis. Parking free.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key skills; Healthcare Experience
  • Experience with Medical Records/Insurance Claims
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel: Specifically, "vlookup" and "& concatenation"
  • Healthcare Industry Experience: In a hospital, clinic, or health insurance company Experience with Medical Records/Insurance Claims: E.g., medical record coders
  • Outreach Skills: Phone/email skills for medical record retrieval
  • Management Experience: Ability to delegate work to Project Coordinators
  • Personal Attributes: Proactive, organized, deadline-driven, trainable, receptive to feedback, client-service mentality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including functions like VLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, and other data tools
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with medical records or claims processing
  • Strong phone communication skills; able to handle escalations with professionalism and persistence
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and deadline-driven
  • Team-oriented with the ability to delegate effectively and foster collaboration
