Nurse Manager of Behavioral Health
Horizon Health Corporation is seeking a Nurse Manager to work on the inpatient psychiatric units in Montgomery, AL. The Nurse Manager plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of overall nursing care to patients. He/she provides managerial support in conjunction with the clinical leadership by providing supervision and evaluation of all nursing and patient care personnel. He/she contributes to the facility through commitment to nursing goals, the supervision of clinical staff, participation on the treatment team(s).
Responsibilities include creating, implementing, and enforcing clinical staffing plans, providing leadership and direction, monitoring nursing personnel performance, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, ensuring efficient discharge plans, and maintaining continuity among nursing teams.
Qualifications include active RN certification/license in Alabama, a bachelor's degree, CPR certification, BLS, ACLS, and minimum 1-3 years of experience in nursing management, specifically in an acute care mental health setting.
