What You'll Do!

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Facilities Attendant to support cleanliness and sanitation at our Retail Dispensary/Production Facilities. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout production, storage, and common areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows sanitation protocols carefully, and helps ensure the facility meets cleanliness and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of production areas, hallways, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and storage spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect floors, walls, surfaces, and equipment according to facility sanitation procedures.
• Clean and sanitize production rooms before and after use to maintain compliance with industry cleanliness standards.
• Empty trash, recycling, and green waste containers; ensure proper waste segregation and disposal in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, soap, and other restroom or sanitation materials as needed.
• Maintain organization of janitorial closets and storage areas, ensuring supplies are properly stocked and safely stored.
• Assist production and operations teams by maintaining clean and orderly workspaces.
  Follow established cleaning schedules and document completed tasks as required.
• Report any noticeable facility concerns (e.g., leaks, damage, safety hazards) to management promptly.
• Comply with all safety, sanitation, and PPE requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience preferred, especially in a regulated environment such as agriculture, food production, or cannabis.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40–50 pounds (cleaning supplies, trash bags, etc.).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, humidity levels, bright lighting, and production-related environmental conditions.
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, masks, and safety goggles.
