Job Summary:The Driver/Appliance Installer is responsible for the safe delivery, installation, and basic servicing of household appliances at customer locations. This role combines driving responsibilities with hands-on technical work and customer interaction. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to providing a positive customer experience.Key Responsibilities:Safely operate a company delivery vehicle in compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation laws.Load, secure, transport, and unload appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and ovens.Install and connect appliances according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.Perform basic testing to ensure proper functionality after installation.Provide customers with instructions on appliance use and care.Remove and properly dispose of or relocate old appliances as needed.Maintain delivery logs, installation records, and required documentation.Inspect equipment and report any vehicle or product issues promptly.Follow all workplace safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.Deliver professional, courteous customer service at all times.Qualifications:Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift and move heavy appliances (often 50–100+ lbs) with or without reasonable accommodation.Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous delivery or installation experience is a plus.Work Environment & Physical Requirements:Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of heavy items.Regular bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs.Work in indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.Driving for extended periodspensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly wage or salary (based on experience).Overtime eligibility where applicable.Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and employee discounts Equal Employment Opportunity Statement:R&B Wholesale Distributors, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
