The Advertising Review function delivers and maintains an advertising compliance framework that enables the business and functions to comply with applicable internal and external rules and regulations. The advertising review team performs advertising reviews of sales literature, marketing materials and certain communications for use internally or externally that discusses Allianz products and services for compliance with SEC, FINRA and/or State Insurance regulatory requirements and related company policies. The team works closely with Marketing, Product, Legal and other key business partners.
The Senior Manager Ethics & Compliance role is responsible for managing the advertising review program and providing leadership and supervision to those assigned. Must have deep subject matter expertise and ability to provide technical direction to others. Aid in development and execution of overall program strategy, process and technology for compliance with regulatory and legal requirements and related company policies of advertising and marketing materials. Provides oversight of workload to ensure operational metrics are achieved (SLAs, Quality, etc.). Manages relationships and influences outcomes with internal and external customers and stakeholders. Able to tailor communication to multiple audience types (peer, colleague, management, senior and executive leadership). Stays current on regulations, policies and industry best practices. May be tasked with reviews for complex or high priority items and special assignments/projects that are outside the scope of day-to-day responsibilities.
Design, build and manage advertising review program, including technology, processes and controls
Analyze program quality and metrics; identifies and executes necessary actions to drive results
Maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders, including research and resolution of identified issues and escalations
Responsible for daily management and development of staff, including supervision of advertising review decisions
Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)
Experience leading diverse group of individuals with proven ability to drive individuals toward consensus in a group environment
Strong written communication skills and experience managing queued workload in an operational environment
8-10 years' experience required including advertising or compliance related experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
Series 7,24 and 63 FINRA registrations are required or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.
Range $134,000 167,000
Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
