Pay Rate: $57 per hour Location: Chandler, AZ 85286 (Hybrid) Schedule: 40 hours per week

Position Overview

The Landowner Affairs Team Member (External Affairs Manager) will support external affairs initiatives by building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including government officials, regulatory agencies, community groups, and industry organizations. This role helps advance organizational priorities by navigating regulatory landscapes, supporting policy initiatives, and promoting positive community engagement.

This is a hybrid office-based role located in Chandler, Arizona, and candidates must have flexibility as in-office days may vary week to week.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement external affairs strategies aligned with broader organizational goals.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with elected officials, regulatory agencies, community groups, and industry associations.

• Represent the organization in meetings with government officials and external stakeholders.

• Advocate for policies and regulations that support infrastructure development and organizational objectives.

• Monitor regulatory and policy developments at local and state levels and provide strategic guidance to leadership.

• Coordinate with internal teams including Legal, Communications, and Public Policy to align messaging and initiatives.

• Manage relationships with local and state lobbyists.

• Support community engagement initiatives and promote positive public perception through outreach and media engagement where appropriate.

Required Skills

• Strong experience working with government officials, regulatory agencies, and public policy stakeholders

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to navigate regulatory and policy environments

• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Skills

• Telecommunications industry experience (preferred but not required)

• Project management experience

• Experience working with infrastructure or regulated industries

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

• 8+ years of experience in external affairs, government relations, regulatory affairs, or a related field

• Demonstrated success building relationships with government officials, community organizations, and industry groups

• Hybrid work schedule (office located in Chandler, AZ)
